These sentiments are the worst of quasi-marketing business-speak. They are both meaningless and designed to keep you feeling guilty if you aren’t doing as well as you’d like (spoiler alert: the system is rigged against you).
*If you’ve joined an MLM, the person who you signed up under is your upline, and you are their downline. Anyone who signs up under you is your downline, and you are their upline.
